Q. I'd like to see my project featured on the Community Network. How can I get information featured on the boxes on the Welcome page?
A. We would be happy to focus on any project or event that is of interest to a large segment of Members! Depending on how many items get submitted, we will do everything we can to highlight a special project. Here are some kinds of activities or events you can tell us about:
- upcoming conferences and workshops
- deadlines (voting, registration, fees due)
- visiting speakers
- fundraising events
- projects in need of assistance
- completed projects
- announcements
- anniversaries
- community news
We use "Spotlight" to focus on a general activity or event, "Hot Picks" to focus on a Community Network activity or event, "In the News" to feature news, or any other important focus. Priority will be placed on important deadlines or breaking news, but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.
