How Can I Make The Community Network The Home Page On My Web Browser

 
 

Q. How can I make the COMMUNITY NETWORK the home page on my Web browser?


A. It's easy to make your community Welcome page your homepage. To find the URL or Web address, check the address line at the top of your browser window when you are on the Welcome page. That is the page you want to go to. Now, just follow these steps.


First, you need to find out which browser version you are using. Click your browser's Help menu, and select About Navigator or Communicator or About Internet Explorer. The browser version should be at the top of the new page; for example, Netscape Communicator 7.0.


Once you've determined which browser version you have, follow the appropriate instructions below:


Internet Explorer


Version 5.0 and higher:

  1. Go to the URL you found above.
  2. Click your browser's Tool menu.
  3. Select Internet Options.
  4. Click the General tab, Home Page, Use Current, then click OK.


Version 4.0:

  1. Go to the URL you found above.
  2. Click your browser's View menu.
  3. Select Internet Options.
  4. Click the General tab, Home Page, Use Current, then click OK.


Netscape Navigator


Version 4.0 or higher:

  1. Click on the Edit menu.
  2. Choose Preferences.
  3. Under Category, click Navigator.
  4. In the Location box enter the URL you found above.
  5. Click OK.


In Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Go to the URL you found above.
  2. Choose Tools.
  3. Choose Options.
  4. Choose General
  5. Select the first button in the top row: "Use Current Pages."
